SALARY COACHING

Salary Consultation for Employees and Enhanced Retention for Companies

MY VISION IS:

INVEST IN YOURSELF AND YOUR FUTURE

The average employee gives away up to 500,000 euros throughout their entire working life. Especially women and employees from other countries, such as Poland, India, Ukraine, China, and Thailand, are left wondering why their colleagues earn much more for the same or similar jobs. In some cases, highly qualified expatriates with two exceptionally well-earned college degrees receive far too low salaries, even in the IT industry.

On the other hand, there are young, well-educated colleagues who start with much higher salaries than some long-standing employees who have been with the company for many years, accumulating a wealth of experience and expertise. How do they do it? My answer is, "They have informed themselves well, perhaps through career counseling, and have trained in salary negotiations." Here, I can provide you with valuable information, starting with an analysis of your current situation and, of course, a situation-appropriate salary comparison to determine the maximum achievable salary. After that, we can develop a strategy for you to reach your desired salary.

We can even practice salary negotiations until you are confident and convincing.

Who is salary coaching with the
Karriere Krönerin suitable for?

  • You want to know where the coveted and best-paying jobs are, which companies or industries could offer you the highest earnings.
  • Expatriates living in Germany who want to ensure they have been correctly classified.
  • You are unhappy with your salary, feel underpaid or exploited.
  • You want to be more satisfied with both your salary and your job overall.
  • Your bonus was not paid as promised.
  • Your expected salary increase has not materialized, or you have been receiving the same stagnant salary for years.
  • You need assistance with salary negotiations with your current employer and/or a strategy for future job interviews or relocation discussions.
  • You want to know why and how other colleagues are advancing faster than you.
  • You want to understand why your colleague drives a bigger and fancier company car.
  • If you're still not convinced, consider this: My consultation will pay for itself after just three months in your new job. With a hypothetical annual salary of 80,000 euros, a 20% increase amounts to 20,000 euros. And you can deduct the consultation from your taxes. Do the math!

Have the courage to find out how to achieve your desired salary from an experienced HR professional.

Dear Companies: Please, Prioritize Retention!

Increased retention in your company saves costs and motivates employees to perform better.

It can happen that different salaries are paid for the same job in the same company in the same location. When employees become aware of this, it can affect their motivation and performance. The worst-case scenario is that the "underpaid" employees start looking for a new job or simply start doing the minimum required. And that's when workplace harmony is disrupted, and there are numerous discussions with the works council and unrest all around. Another scenario is when candidates, during salary discussions in the interview, are not happy with the low pay and decide to sign with another employer.

Even worse, these candidates may spread the word on the job market that your company offers low salaries, making it seem unattractive and non-competitive. In both cases, the salary system is not working. Even if a collective bargaining agreement is in place in the company, it doesn't necessarily mean that all employees are correctly classified. As the saying goes, "Friendship ends when money begins." This can easily be applied to the professional world and salary. When it comes to money, employees and managers get stubborn when things aren't right. With the help of my toolbox and years of experience as an HR professional, I can work with you to create a proposal that will make your employees happier.

As rough guidance:

Recruiting, onboarding, and training a new employee costs an average of one year's salary, just because the former position holder resigned.

This includes interim employees, colleagues, temporary workers, etc., who need to be brought on board to bridge the gap. And new employees typically don't start making a positive impact until after two years, once they are fully trained.

So, as an employer, it's crucial to focus intensively on retention; otherwise, you'll soon be left alone. Of course, employee retention isn't just about the right salary! Retention begins with the job interview and onboarding and encompasses all measures aimed at retaining employees in the company.

This includes pension programs, supplementary health insurance, free lunches, taxi services, company daycare centers, and much more. It's best to schedule an appointment right away if you want to learn more about employee retention or contact me here
